The webinar “Corporate Expectations from Management Graduates” was organised by the “Lakshya” Department Association of MBA Program on 05th Oct 2021 at 06.30 pm through Google Meet (YouTube Live). The key note speaker for the event was Mr Bruno Rocha, Chief Finance Officer, TCS, Brazil. The event was organised to facilitate the learning and comprehending various aspects of corporate expectations from Management Graduates. 60 MBA students benefited out of this event.
The program “Winning Marketing Strategies” was organised by the “Lakshya” Department Association of MBA Program on 05th Oct 2021 at 11.30 am in the Auditorium. The key resource person for the event was Mr Siddique Jilani, Senior Business Development Executive, Aurolab, Madurai. He is our MBA alumni (MBA 2008-10 Batch). The event was organised to facilitate the learning and comprehending various aspects of “Marketing strategies to win the market and customers”. 97 MBA students benefited out of this event.
The Webinaron “Career Opportunities in Shipping and Logistics” was organised by the “Lakshya” Department Association of RLIMS – MBA Program on 03rd October 2021 at 11 am through Google Meet (& YouTube Live). The key note speaker for the event was Mr Pradeep Raman, Vice President, Wiz Frieght, Chennai. The event was organised to facilitate the learning and comprehending various aspects of career opportunities in Shipping and Logistics Industry. 75 MBA students benefited out of this event.
Faculty Industry Visit was organized by RLIMS (MBA Program) at Aurolabs, Madurai on 25th September 2021. Faculty members from various programs participated in the industrial visit, faculty members from MBA, BBA and B.Sc (Fire and Industrial Safety) participated in the industrial visit. The institute management has provided the transport facility for the faculty members to commute to the Industry Visit. The faculty team was welcomed by Mr Siddique Jailani, Senior Business Development Executive, Aurolabs and he made a presentation about the company to all the faculty members with a high-tea.The purpose of the visit to understand the functioning of an industry with international standards and to learn contemporary corporate / industry practices. After the introductory company presentation, the faculty members were taken for industry visit tour and the company executives explained the production process in detail with all Covid-19 safety protocols. After the visit, the team had a working lunch and resumed back for a healthy interaction and Q & A session with the Aurolabs executives. All the faculty members expressed their fullest satisfaction about the industrial visit and was suggesting for such a kind experience yearly twice or thrice to all the faculty members.
As a part of Leadership Development and Management Course(Course Code: 20MB303), II MBA, 3rd Semester, an interactive Webinar was organised on the topic “Importance of Leadership” on 03rd August 2021, 1 pm.

As a mark of celebrating International Friendship Day, every year 1st Sunday is celebrated as International Friendship Day. In this regard RLIMS MBA students celebrated the International Friendship Day with their alumni on 01st August 2021, Sunday through Google Meet, online platform.

II MBA Orientation Program (Academic Year 2021-22) on 26th July 2021 was organized by RLIMS. During this program all the core, ancillary, and elective courses were briefly explained to our II MBA students by all the MBA Program Course Faculty Members.
The Workshop on “New Templates of AQAR 2020-21” was conducted on 25.06.2021 and 30.06.2021 in F-32 at 2 pm.
All the VII Criterion were explained to all the faculty members. The Principal Dr.R.Sujatha, the Vice Principal Dr.K.Archunan and the Dean Academics Dr.S.Priya took part in the Workshop.
The IQAC Assistant Coordinators Mrs.R.Suganthi Hepzibha and Mrs.K.P.Maheswari explained the key indicators and the metrics of the criterion. The Assistant Coordinators explained that the new AQAR is going to be like the SSR format. So the clarity was given from the SSR-SOPs.
Many faculty members raised the queries and the same was also clarified after having the discussion among the members. The faculty members were also informed about the activities to be done by the Course Teachers, Cells, Committees, Departments, Department Associations and Clubs.
Around 50 faculty members participated and got benefitted. Finally the day wound up by acquiring an overview about the New Templates of AQAR 2020-21.
An Awareness Program on Insurance Policies and its benefits was conducted in Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science on 23rd June.2021. Dr.R.Sujatha, Principal, SLCS welcomed the gathering and introduced the Chief Guest Mr.Govindharajan, Royal Sundaram Insurance Ltd., who briefed the welfare measures of existing and new policies to all the faculty members. He also added the benefits of Health Insurance when it is obtained as a Group of members from a particular domain. The session was opened for discussion to clarify the doubts. Many of the faculty members raised questions related to group insurance and claiming health insurance for diagnosing ailments like cataract and corona. The session benefitted everyone by knowing and clarifying their queries of insurance policies. The Principal thanked everyone for making their presence and the session was informative.
