Lakshaya Association, Department of MBA, organized an Outreach Activity (SLCS Samaaj Seva) on “Safe Handling of Fireworks During Festive Season” on 20^th October 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at CDS Middle School, Kovilangulam Village, Virudhunagar. The event was organzsed to create awareness on safe handling of crackers. Mr. R. Brameshwaran, Fire & Industrial Safety expert, briefed the preventive measures to be taken while handling fireworks. The students made poster presentation. Totally, 20 MBA students participated in the activity. Dr. R. Sivajothi and Dr. D. Abraham Pradeep were the coordinators.

 

ZEAL Association of BBA Department and Consumer Awareness Club of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai, organized “Leave No Behind” seminar on 16.10.2022.  Mr. Pradeep Challiyil was the guest speaker. The guest explained the importance of consuming food and also advised not to waste food. He further briefed on the adulteration of foods that affect the consumer.  He finally insisted the participants to create awareness on the food adulteration among the public. He also clarified the queries of the students and the other participants. Totally, 30 members of Consumer Awareness Club and other public participants attended the seminar. Through this lecture the students and other participants had a great idea about healthy food and diet.

Research & Publications and IPR Cell organised a Workshop on “Research Tools & Techniques” on 27^th August 2022, at 2.30 pm in F-31of our college premises. Dr Sivajothi (Asst. Prof- MBA) is the resource person for the workshop. The event was organized to trained the faculty members about the few selected research tools and techniques and the usage of SPSS packages (demo version).  Totally, 19 faculty members are benefitted out of this program.

Lakshaya, an Association of the Department of MBA, organised an Outreach Activity (SLCS Samaaj Seva) “UPI & E-Wallets Awareness” on 27^th August 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at East Masi Street, South Masi Street, North Veli Street and Town Hall Road in Madurai District. The event was organised to create awareness on the Unified Payment Systems and E-Wallets. The students briefed the advantages of using digital payment system. Totally 12 II MBA students participated in the activity. Dr. K.S. Karthick Babu and Dr. D. Abraham Pradeep were the coordinators.

Research & Publications and IPR Cell organized a program on the Impact of Research @ Higher Educational Institutions by Dr B Poorna (Former Senate Member) on 29^th June 2022, at 2.30 pm in F-31 of our college premises. The event was organized to inculcate interest in Faculty Member on research and publication and to impart the importance of research in Higher Educational Institutions. The resource person explained the process of research, step by step and how the research shall impact the growth and development of faculty and the institution as a whole. The session created an understanding of the significance of research and planning for publications. Totally, 39 II MBA students and 18 faculty members were benefitted out of this program.

SLCS SamaajSeva – an outreach activity on “The Traffic Awareness” was organised by the “Lakshya”, the Department Association of MBA Program on 14^th May 2022 at 10.30 am in Thiruparangundram – to create awareness on “Traffic Rules”. 28 first year MBA students organised this activity under the guidance of Dr S Sekar. Totally25 people from Thiruparangundram got benefitted through this SLCS SamaajSeva.

SLCS SamaajSeva – an outreach activity on “The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005” was organised by the “Lakshya”, the Department Association of MBA Program on 13^th April 2022 at 12.30 pm in Samam NGO,Kariyapatti – to create awareness on “State Govt’s Rural Employment scheme”. 22 first year MBA students organised this activity under the guidance of Prof  P Selvam. Totally25 people from Samam NGO got benefitted through this SLCS SamaajSeva.

Lakshaya an Association of the Department of MBA, organised an Outreach Activity (SLCS Samaaj Seva) “Mudra Scheme Awareness” on 8^th April 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at AlampattiVillage in Maduri District. The event was organised to create awareness about Mudra Scheme. The students briefed the procedure for applying loan under the scheme. 33 first year MBA students participated in the activity. Dr. S. Sekar and Dr. D. Abraham Pradeep were the coordinators.

SLCS SamaajSeva – an extension activity on “Awareness on Savings Scheme”was organised by the “Lakshya” the Department Association of MBA Program on 26^th March 2022, at 10.30 am  at Eliyapathi village to create awareness on “Learning and comprehending various aspects of the State &the Central Govt. Savings Schemes” to the  village people. 4 I-MBA students organised this activity under the guidance of Dr S Sekar & Dr D Abraham Pradeep. Totally25 people from Eliyapathi got benefitted through this SLCS SamaajSeva.
