The Department of Fire & Industrial Safety has organized a Career Counseling cum workshop on 06.08.2019 for Adhyapana CBSE school Students. Mr.I.Vivek Ramkumar HOD; Department of Fire & Industrial Safety clearly explained the future growth of safety and the demand for safety professionals in various fields. He also gave useful tips for the Students regarding the job opportunities for safety in various sectors. Fire Demo was conducted in RLINS ground by the HOD of Fire & Industrial Safety to create awareness among the participants on handling of Safety Equipments. At the end of the program an Interactive session was conducted and the feedback from the Students who participated in the program was good and the program ended with Vote of Thanks.  The School Students Visit is successfully completed with a great positive impact in the minds of the students and the faculty members of the school. We have received an overwhelming Response from the school Students.

Totally 15 students participated and got benefited through this program.

The Department of Fire and Industrial Safety has organized an Extension Activity at Froebel Matric Hr. Sec. School, Aviyur on 26/07/2019. Our Department HOD and III year Students have presented the PPT, delivered the speech about Basic First Aid & Basic Fire Safety and Domestic Safety and gives a demonstrate how to operate the Fire Extinguishers while emergency time to the students, teachers and non-teaching staffs.

We have conducted the program in terms of the strategies they wanted to adopt and to create awareness on the day – to – day activities related to Safety issues. Our program was successful in creating awareness to the students and staffs on Basic Fire Safety and Domestic Safety as well as we received a very good appreciation feedback from them.

The Department of Fire and Industrial Safety has organized a five days training program on Safety audit for the students of Fire & Industrial Safety from 28/01/2019 to 01/02/2019. Mr.Saravana kumar lead auditor of Prevention Pro India Limited was the Resource person for the programme. He explained clearly about the need for the safety audit and the auditing techniques. He also gave useful tips for the Final year students for their career and Higher education. At the end of the programme a mock interview arranged for the final year students. The students of F&IS felt very happy for arranging an useful training program which will help them to build the career.

The Department of Fire and Industrial Safety has organized a one day Career counseling program for UG F&IS students and Public. Mr. M. Subramanian , Advisor – Technical of RLINS was called as Resource person for the programme. He clearly explained about the Future of safety field and its job opportunities in India and abroad.  . He also gave useful suggestion and ideas to the engineering graduates for a bright future. At the end of the programme an interactive session was arranged for the UG F&IS students and engineering graduates who participated in the program. The students of F&IS and engineering graduates felt very happy for arranging a useful Career guidance  program which helps them to build their Career for a bright future.

The Department of Fire and Industrial Safety have organized an extension activity at Government Kallar Middle School, katta karupanpatti, Usilampatti on 30/11/2018. Our Department faculty member, Mr. Jaiveer kumar have delivered the speech and create awareness on basic fire safety and rescue operation to the students, teachers and non-teaching staffs.

We have conducted the program in terms of the strategies they wanted to adopt and to create awareness on the day – to – day activities related to Safety issues and Disaster Management and received a very positive feedback. Our program was successful in creating awareness to the students and staffs on basic fire safety and rescue operation.

he Department of Fire & Industrial Safety has organized a two days Training program on Basic first Aid practices conducted by St.John Ambulance. Mr.S.Radha Krishnan lecturer (First Aid) of St. John Ambulance was the resource person for the training program. The 2nd Year students of Fire and Industrial safety Department eagerly participated in the training program and the resource person practically demonstrated the basics of First Aid practices to be followed during emergencies on affected victim. The students felt that the program was very useful to them and at the end of training program an interactive session was arranged to clear the doubts of the Students who participated in the training program.

Our Department HOD and II year Students have presented the PPT, delivered the speech about Basic First Aid & Basic Fire Safety and Domestic Safety and gives a demonstrate how to operate the Fire Extinguishers while emergency time to the students, teachers and non-teaching staffs.

The Department of Fire & Industrial Safety organized a Safety Awareness Program –cum-Workshop on 03.05.2018. Dr.S.Tamilselvan Ph.D, (Industrial Safety), Anna University was the Resource Person. The program started at 10.30am in the M.B.A hall and the welcome speech was given by Mr.V.N.Devkumar HOD, Department of Fire & Industrial Safety. The Chief Guest, Dr.S.Tamilselvan, lucidly explained the future growth of Safety and the demand for Safety Professionals in various fields. He also gave useful tips for the participants regarding the job opportunities in Safety in various sectors. Later a practical session was conducted at the RLINS ground by the HOD of Fire & Industrial Safety to create awareness among the participants on handling of Safety Equipments. At the end of the program an Interactive session was conducted and the Resource Person clarified the queries of the Participants. The feedback from the Students who participated in the program was good and the program ended with the Vote of Thanks.
