v To appreciate various sacrifices made by people to humanitarian causes and needs.

v To draw attention to selfless service of volunteers who give immediate medical care, food, shelter, and protection to people during pandemic.

v Students prepared posters on the theme “Protecting Humanitarian concept” and visited Vadakkuvalayapatti village area, which is around 42 kms from the college campus.

v Students rallied around the village and raised slogans to protect the society through selfless humanity.

v Students discussed the various sacrifices made by the eminent socialists like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela and others

v The villagers in Vadakkuvalayapatti understood the importance of humanity to society.

v They also assured to extend voluntary services and universality with their village people.

v To Provide Knowledge about Government Plans and Entrepreneurship Programmes.

v To Promote First Generation Businessman among students community.

v To provide an idea for start-up business and incubation centre

v The BBA Zeal Association organized the program.

v The Guest Prof. Thiirukoshtiyur K. Manikandan explained the concepts like ethics in Administration, Time Management, Innovation, and Creativity.

v The speaker narrated the qualities of successful entrepreneur, SWOT Analysis, and the various government funding agencies that promote students entrepreneurs.

v The students were accompanied by Dr.Kumaran Thayumanavan, HoD, Dr. B. Meenakshi Sundaram Assistant Professor and Mr. B. Vairamuthu, Assistant Professor – Department of BBA.

v Students were able to understand the concept of Startup ideas.

v The Students showed keen interest in generating business ideas They also obtained the knowledge and guidance from the speaker to become an entrepreneur.

v To create a passion towards entrepreneurship among the students’ community and to identify and exhibit the promotional skills of the students by participating in Sales day competition.

v To inculcate the passion on start-up entrepreneurship among the students through marketing.

v To give a practice about the risk management among the students’ entrepreneurs.

The expert speakers elaborated the following major points to the participants

v Dr. G.R. Balakrishnan explained the basic concepts of marketing and gave several ideas to develop entrepreneurship skills and advised the students to have knowledge about the product and financial feasibility and Break Event Point analysis while developing entrepreneurship skills.

v Dr. S. Sriram, being an entrepreneur, shared his experience and highlighted the advantages of becoming an entrepreneur. He further explained how to get strong knowledge about the supply chain management and advised to develop more start-up entrepreneurship in future.

v The students promoted and sold various products including stationeries, consumer eatables, and mobile accessories and were able to obtain more than 35 percent profit through sales day.

The participants were able to

v Promote their products and services which created an enthusiasm towards entrepreneurship.

v Exhibit their promotional skills through banner display and  product display which created a basic idea of entrepreneurship skill and implement various strategies to sell their products.

v Acquire basic idea of developing a relationship with the customers and demonstrate a passion towards start-up entrepreneurship.

v To celebrate 75 Years of Indian Independence (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav)

v To conduct various competitions such as Essay Writing, Drawing, Singing, Slogan formulation on various themes like Ideas@75, Achievements@75 and Actions@75.

v To imbibe culture of patriotism in the minds of the younger generations.

v To motivate the students to be a responsible citizen of India.

The following competitions were held between 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

v The essay and drawing competition on the theme “Vision for India” was conducted in the drawing hall of Animation Department at 11.00a.m. Totally, 11 students from various departments participated in the essay competition and 5 members participated in drawing  competition.

v Faculty members from different departments visited the drawing hall and encouraged the students.

v The singing competition on patriotic theme focused on Achievements @ 75 was conducted in the Audio Lab of Viscom Department at 11.00 a.m.  Totally, 9 students participated in the competition under the encouragement of 14 faculty members.

v The slogan competition on the theme Actions @ 75 was conducted in the drawing hall of Animation Department. Totally, 5 students participated in slogan competition under the encouragement of 12 faculty members.

v The students participated enthusiastically in various competitions conducted in the mentioned two days and exhibited their patriotism through their performance.

v The essays, drawings and slogans exhibited the essence of patriotism for India, and also the honor that they pay for our country.

v The winners were awarded for their performance in various competitions.

v To highlight IIC – institution’s achievement and impact through poster display

v To demonstrate innovation and start ups from the host institute and other IIC institutions.

v To create policy awareness on YUKTI – National Innovation Repository (NIR), participatory approach, achievement and performance maximization through quality participation in HEIs’

v To engage in regional ecosystem for an effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The expert speakers elaborated the following major points to the participants,

v The meeting started with registration and a formal inaugural session followed by Poster Display and visit to Innovation and Startup model display.

v Smt. Mamta Rani Agarwal, Advisor – AICTE, presented the importance of Multicultural Reliability, Innovation in Technology, Industrial /Academic set up and understanding the society.

v Dr. R. Srinivasan, Member Secretary, TNSCST, explained the importance of Inter-disciplinary approach in establishing the quality education through innovation and entrepreneurship.

v Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu, Assistant Innovation Director, explained about the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self Reliance India) and also informed that India is emerging as a Startup Nation.

v In the afternoon, the session was subdivided into four sub-sessions as follows

1.      Creation and sustaining I & E ecosystems in HEIs.

2.      Visualizing and developing action plan for I & E Ecosystem Development in HEIs.

3.      Benchmark Measuring I & E ecosystem in HEIs and Impact Creation.

4.      IP and Technology Transfer.

The participants were able to,

v Understand how HEI is able to create an impact towards institution’s achievement by analyzing and observing the display of posters.

v Observe various innovative models and start ups done by various institutions through IIC.

v Get awareness on YUKTI – National Innovative Repository (NIR) achievement and performance maximization through quality participation of HEIs,

v Gain knowledge on the importance of creation and sustaining innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, knowledge on visualizing and developing action plan for I & E ecosystem, benchmark measuring I & E Ecosystem in HEIs through knowledge sharing.

v To create awareness among the villagers about the conservation of nature

v To explain various methods of protecting the nature like avoiding deforestation, saving water, utilizing natural resources properly.

v The Students of III BBA prepared Posters on the theme “Protecting the Environment and Conservation of Nature” and visited Thirupparankundram village (Hill Area) which is around 12 kms from the College campus.

v The students elaborated to the villagers, about the consequences of the deforestation that may lead to scarcity of rainfall and subsequent climate change

v The students briefed the importance of conservation of nature for the future generation.

v The students also discussed the various measures to be taken for conservation of nature.

v The villagers in Thirupparankundram understood the importance of conservation of nature.

v They also assured that they will follow the guidelines and procedures for protecting the nature and assured to create awareness among the people in that locality.
