Mr.J.K.Muthu, Managing Director, Kamalam Group, Madurai & Chairman, Digitall, Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce was the resource person. He elucidated on the need for conversion of brand name into trademarks and the various forms of trademarks with appropriate examples for easy understanding. The means and ways of developing and registering patents were also discussed. Students actively participated and interacted with the resource person.

Mr.G.Rajamurthy, Director, Global School of Foreign Trade & Vice President, Export Promotion Council, Madurai was the resource person, who explained in detail the future opportunities available for India in the field of Global Trade. He also highlighted the various sectors that would experience a growth post lock down. Students also had an interactive session with the resource person, which helped them to realize the boom that India is about to experience post lock down.
ZEAL, BBA Association, Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized an Extension Activity at SACC Psychiatric & De-addiction Treatment Centre, Madurai on 29.02.2020. Dr.K.Rajesh Kumar, HoD of BBA was the resource person. He motivated the inmates and boosted their confidence in a positive way. The importance of family and social relationships were explained in detail. Some real life examples of successful personalities with personal disabilities were shown to the inmates and their life history were explained.

Prof. Hari Krishnan, faculty from CII – Institute of Logistics was invited as the resource person. The resource person highlighted the various types of containers along with their architecture. The different transactions and operations involved in the container trade were also explained.

Mr.K.C.M.Thirumaalan Sarravanan, Head, Corporate Affairs & Training, Triway Group was invited as the resource person. The resource person highlighted the various challenges, scope and opportunities available in the different modes of transport relating to logistics. The various government policies relating to Multimodal Freight Logistics were also explained in detail.

Prof.N.Nandhini, faculty from CII – Institute of Logistics was invited as the resource person. The resource person highlighted the important trade routes in the world and the various types of ships along with their architecture. The different transactions and risks involved in the shipping industry were also explained.
ZEAL, BBA Association, Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a seminar on “Digital Marketing” on 03.02.2020. Ms.Shamila Ramachandran, Strategic Marketing Trainer & Consultant from Malaysia was invited as the resource person. The resource person highlighted the basics of digital marketing along with the strategies to be adopted to be a successful digital marketer. Various means of promoting entrepreneurial activities thorough digital marketing were also explained. The resource person also inaugurated the Research Club of the college. Totally 72 students got benefited through this program.
ZEAL, BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai, organized an extension activity on 26.01.2020 to celebrate the 71st Republic Day of our country. Students distributed face masks to the traffic police of Madurai city. The traffic police highly appreciated the efforts of the students and the department in taking up this noble initiative in helping them to tackle air pollution.
ZEAL, BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai, organized an extension activity at the Bodhi campus of M.S.Chellamuthu Trust on 18.01.2020. Students had the opportunity of meeting some of the inmates affected by mental disability. The inmates were very happy to see the students moving close with them and understanding their feelings and emotions. This led to a strong emotional bonding between the inmates and the students. The staff of the Trust felt that this is a small step towards the holistic development of their normalization process.
