ZEAL, a BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a seminar on “Emerging trends in the manufacturing sector” on 22.12.2021. Mr.D.Katherushan, Coordinator, Parle G, Madurai, was the resource person. Totally 60 students comprising of I and II year BBA participated and got benefited through the program. The resource person explained in detail about the latest developments in the manufacturing sector. He also highlighted some interesting case studies related to manufacturing. The seminar took place at Parle G, Madurai.

ZEAL, a BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a seminar on “The Magic of Entrepreneurship” on 17.12.2021. Mrs.Saranya Suthandra Pandian, Founder & Director, Next Gen Sprouted Health Mix, Madurai, was the resource person. Totally 63 students comprising of I and II year BBA participated and got benefited through the program. The resource person explained in detail about the skills needed and the strategies to be employed for developing entrepreneurial skills in the post Covid era. She also highlighted some interesting case studies related to entrepreneurship.

ZEAL, BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized an exposure visit to Ship-in-campus facility at RL Institute of Nautical Sciences on 29.10.2021. The students learnt in detail about the architecture of a ship. The students had a great learning experience. Totally 110 students comprising of I, II and III year BBA participated and got benefited through this visit.

Mrs.K.Kanya, Senior Consultant, Ernest Young was the resource person. Totally 110 students comprising of I, II and III year BBA participated and got benefited through the program. The resource person explained in detail about the skills needed and the strategies to be employed for developing these skills.

ZEAL, BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a factory visit to St John’s Container Freight Station, Tuticorin on 27.10.2021. The students learnt in detail the various import and export procedures involved in the movement of containers. The logistics operations involved in this process were also explained in detail. The students had a great learning experience. Totally 109 students comprising of I, II and III year BBA participated and got benefited through this visit.

The students learnt in detail the production processes involved in the manufacturing of beverages. The logistics operations involved in this process were also explained in detail. The students had a great learning experience. Totally 110 students comprising of I, II and III year BBA participated and got benefited through this visit.

The students learnt in detail the life style and values of Mahatma Gandhi. The students had a great learning experience. Totally 110 students comprising of I, II and III year BBA participated and got benefited through this visit.

ZEAL, BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a factory visit to Singai Coir Clusters Private Limited, Singampunari, Sivagangai District on 22.10.2021. The students learnt in detail the production processes involved in the manufacturing of coir mats. The logistics operations involved in this process were also explained in detail. The students had a great learning experience. Totally 108 students comprising of I, II and III year BBA participated and got benefited through this visit.

Ms. V. Vanadhi (19004), a notable alumnus of BBA 2018 – 2021 batch and who is currently pursuing MBA (Higher Studies) in RL Institute of Management Studies, had an interaction on the topic of “TANCET Exam Preparation for pursuing MBA” on 06.10.2021. She shared her experience with the students of III BBA regarding methods of preparation for TANCET examination. Students had a wonderful experience of listening to her speech. 47 students of III BBA were benefited by this interaction programme

ZEAL, BBA Association of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a training program on “Successful tips to attend an interview” on 22.09.2021 for students of III BBA. Mrs.M.Divya, HR Manager, Ruby Food Products Private Limited was the resource person. 42 Students of III BBA attended the program. This program was followed by an interview process towards recruitment for Summer Internship for our students. The interview process consisted of a logical reasoning test, group discussion session and a personal interview. 9 Students were shortlisted for internship.
