The two days training workshop on Search Engine Optimization took place on 19th & 20th of July 2018 for II B.Sc CS (SSS), III B.Sc CS and III B.Sc IT students. The session was started with the welcome address by J.Sriram, III B.Sc CS and the presidential address was delivered by our Vice Principal Dr.K.Archunan. Then our Coordinator delivered felicitation & introductory address about the resource person. The resource person of this session Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Pandurangan, Founder/CEO of Doorhunt.com, Digital Manager and Certified ScrumMaster and Mr.Shalia, Co-Trainer shared the art and science of publishing and marketing information that ranks well in search engines like Google, Yahoo! Search, and Microsoft Bing. Students have gained the knowledge of digital marketing through optimizing the search engine for their published contents in internet. Also trainer trained the students with practical session about optimizing their content on internet. During second day of the session trainer asked the students to bring any two own videos which are not uploaded in YouTube, WhatsApp or any other social media for demonstration. Through this practical cession students came to know the importance of search engine optimization. The session came to an end with the job opportunities in SEO. Also he referred few websites for earning while the students are learning. Totally 36 students got benefited through this program.
