| Objective of the activity:
v To create awareness among the villagers about the effect of population growth and the steps to control the population growth. v To explain various ideas for developing our country economically, by controlling population |

| Key Highlights:
v The Students of I BBA prepared Posters on the theme “Population Control and Nation Development” and visited Aviyur village which is around 8 kms from the College campus. v The students elaborated the consequences of the population growth as it may lead to poverty, water scarcity, unemployment and maternal mortality. v The students briefed the importance of controlling population and how it helps to develop our country economically. v The students also discussed the various measures taken by Government of India in controlling population. |

| Outcome(s) of the activity:
v The villagers in Aviyur understood the importance of population growth and promised that they will follow the guidelines for controlling population growth. v They also assured that they will create awareness among the younger generations in that locality. |
