The Art and Media Club aims to foster creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression by blending traditional art forms with modern media tools. Held at the Drawing Lab on 26.07.2025, the inaugural event saw active participation from 21 students, who engaged in a variety of creative activities. Through art forms like origami, portraiture, and painting, students explored the intersection of Art and Media, enhancing their skills in both visual expression and digital communication. Mr. S. Naveen Kumar, Assistant Professor, SAMS the resource person, guided the participants, emphasizing how traditional art can be reimagined through digital mediums such as photo editing, digital painting, and video storytelling. This approach allows students to connect with a broader audience and innovate in the realm of visual media. By incorporating media literacy into the exploration of artistic expression, the club creates opportunities for students to engage in diverse forms of creative communication, promoting artistic innovation and technological fluency. Ultimately, the club seeks to empower young minds by cultivating an environment where traditional and modern creative practices converge, fostering both artistic excellence and media-savvy skills for the future.
