“ANITALK ON CONTENT IS KING: CRAFTING COMPELLING DIGITAL NARRATIVES” – 23.09.2024
ALUMNI INTERACTION CUM CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM
On September 23, 2024, the School of Animation and Media Studies at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science hosted an enriching Alumni Interaction cum Career Guidance Program titled “Anitalk on Content is King: Crafting Compelling Digital Narratives,” featuring Mr. Sivasankaranarayanan G, a distinguished alumnus from the M.Sc. Viscom batch of 2020-22, as the resource person. The event aimed to equip students with essential skills in digital storytelling and content creation, emphasizing the significance of crafting engaging narratives in today’s digital landscape.
Mr. Sivasankaranarayanan shared his insights on various aspects of content creation, including audience engagement, effective messaging, and the impact of storytelling across different media platforms.. The event successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industry practices, providing students with valuable knowledge and inspiration to enhance their content creation skills.
As a result of this program, students reported a heightened understanding of digital narrative techniques, increased confidence in their storytelling abilities, and a clear direction for developing engaging content for various media platforms, ultimately preparing them for future careers in digital marketing and media production.
With a total of 32 students from I B.Sc. Animation (Visual Effects and Film Production) was participated and the session fostered a collaborative atmosphere, encouraging attendees to ask questions and share their own experiences.
