Objectives of the activity: 

v  To identify the problem and address it with systematic and Innovative solution

v  To understand the connectivity between the solution and problem which is inevitable

v  To enhance thinking skill and to find out the methods and ways for establishing entrepreneurship by applying innovative solution

Key Highlights:

The expert speaker briefly explained the following major points to the participants

v  He suggested cultivating a different way of thinking for obtaining the solution for a problem.

v  He explained the 4 levels of the course (free) for “Out of the Box Thinking for problem solving”

v  He gave live examples of Apple – Knife – Stone Theory and suggested to sharpen the brain for innovative thinking.

v  He quoted a couplet from “Thirukkural” and explained the importance of numbers and alphabets in problem solving method. He gave other examples of “Pallaankuzhi” game for mathematics to demonstrate another way of thinking. He also gave various illustrations for thinking differently for problem solving in Mathematics.

v He insisted on Education based on stories and examples like “Patti and Pongal”

Outcome of the activity:

v  The participants were able to understand the basic concept of innovation for problem.

v  They were able to understand how the innovative thinking helps to solve the problem and also to enhance entrepreneurship in business world.
