The Department of Commerce (Honours) of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, in association with the CA Nexus Association, organized a seminar on “The Future of Chartered Accountants in the Digital Era” on 31st July 2026 (Friday) at TVR Hall, SLCS Block. The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, CA.P.V.Rajarajeswaran, F.C.A., B.L., Partner, SSV Associates, Madurai. The resource person delivered an insightful
session on the evolving role of Chartered Accountants, digital transformation in the accounting profession, emerging career opportunities, and the skills required to succeed in the digital era.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion where students actively clarified their doubts and gained valuable career guidance. The seminar was attended by 119 students and 3 faculty members. The programme was highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students knowledge of the future scope and opportunities in the Chartered Accountancy profession.
