An industrial visit was organized for 22 students of II B.Sc. Computer Science
(Security System Specialization) to BSE TECH, Madurai, on 11th September 2026. The visit
was arranged with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to the IT
industry environment, blockchain technologies, and their real-world applications.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the working environment of the
organization and gained insights into the role of technology in modern industries. The
students learned about blockchain technology, its basic concepts, applications, and
significance in the IT sector. The interaction with industry professionals helped the students
understand how the concepts learned in the classroom are applied in real-world technological
environments.
The visit also provided an opportunity for students to interact with industry experts,
clarify their queries, and gain awareness about the skills and knowledge required for pursuing
careers in the IT industry.
A feedback session was conducted at the end of the industrial visit. The students
shared their experiences and expressed that the visit provided them with valuable practical
exposure to blockchain technologies and the IT industry environment. They appreciated the
opportunity to interact with industry professionals and understand the real-world applications
of blockchain technology. The session helped the students reflect on their learning and gain
better awareness of the skills required for their future careers.
