The Department of B.Sc. Computer Science (Security System Specialization) organized a workshop on “Gen AI Security: Prompt Injection & Attack” on 31st July 2026 from 8:50 AM to 1:30 PM for II and III B.Sc. Computer Science (SSS) students. The session was conducted by Mr. Mohamed Fiaz from Vectra Technosoft.
The workshop introduced students to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and the importance of AI security. The resource person explained prompt injection attacks, jailbreak techniques, system prompt extraction, indirect prompt injection, and data leakage, highlighting the need for secure AI application development. The interactive session allowed students to clarify their doubts on AI security, career opportunities, and emerging cyber threats. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks. A total of 56 students participated, making the programme informative, interactive, and highly successful.
