The Department of BBA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management) organized the National Logistics Day Celebration on 29th June 2026 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.” The programme was conducted with the active participation of 39 students, and the session was led by the III BBA (L&SM) students, who shared their knowledge and perspectives on the logistics and supply chain industry. The primary objective of the celebration was to create awareness among students about the significance of logistics and supply chain management in the economic development of the nation. The session also aimed to educate students on the latest trends, technological advancements, government initiatives, and the wide range of career opportunities available in the logistics sector. In addition, the programme encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship, startups, and self-employment opportunities in logistics and allied services. During the session, the student presenters highlighted the vital role of logistics in connecting production, transportation, warehousing, distribution, and customer satisfaction, emphasizing its contribution to national and global trade. They also discussed the growing demand for skilled logistics professionals, the impact of digital technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, and the importance of sustainable logistics practices in the modern business environment.
