The Department of Commerce (Honours) organised a “World NGO Day Celebration at Rehabilitation Centre, Ya. Pudhupatti, Madurai” Madurai, on 27.02.2025. During this event, ourIstyear students actively engaged in a cleaning and service initiative at the rehabilitation centre. They worked together to clean and organize the facility, enhancing the environment for the residents. During the event, students were educated on the importance of social responsibility and environmental awareness. The students also interacted with the residents, sharing ideas about moral values and community well-being. The initiative aimed to promote empathy, social competence, and civic engagement. Overall, the event was a success, contributing positively to the centre and the participants.Totally, 17 students and 1faculty participated in the event and got benefitted.
