The Department of Computer Science (Data Science & Analytics) and Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) organized an Association Meeting on 8th August 2026 at TVR Hall. The programme was conducted from 12.40 pm to 1:30 pm and provided students with a platform to share their ideas, showcase their talents, and develop their communication and teamwork skills.
The programme began with the Welcome Address delivered by Santhiya C (II B.Sc., CS(DSA)), who warmly welcomed the faculty members and students and introduced the purpose of the meeting.
This was followed by a PowerPoint presentation on “AI Agents” by Yogeshwari D and Kopika S (II B.Sc., CS(DSA)). They presented their topic with confidence and demonstrated good preparation and presentation skills.
The next session was an engaging Adzap activity conducted by Ameena M, Sruthi S, Soundharya S, Shamilee H, and Kaniga Sree TE (III B.Sc., CS(DSA)). The activity brought out the students’ creativity and spontaneity and created an energetic atmosphere among the participants.
The programme continued with a PowerPoint presentation on “Artificial Intelligence” by Nooral Janna A and Kalaivani P (I B.Sc.,CS(DSA)), followed by another presentation on “Deep Learning” by Anbarasan S and Anbuselvan G (I B.Sc.,CS(AIML)). Both teams actively participated and showcased their knowledge and presentation skills.
The session then moved on to an interactive Connections activity conducted by Vinoth JS, Aakash KS, Yuvan Sanjay K, and Tharikul Hassan S(II B.Sc., CS(DSA)). The activity encouraged students to think quickly, communicate with one another, and work together while making the session enjoyable and interactive.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Deepin kumar M (I B.Sc.,CS(AIML)), who expressed gratitude to the faculty members, participants, and everyone involved in organizing the meeting.
Overall, the Association Meeting was a lively and engaging programme that encouraged students to participate actively and helped them develop their creativity, communication, presentation, confidence, and teamwork skills. The programme concluded successfully at 1:30 pm.
A total of 130 students attended the programme.
