The D. P. Roy Choudhury Association successfully organized “BATTLEGROUND: BGMI CLASH 2026”, a team-based gaming competition on BGMI, for the B.Sc. Animation (Specialization in Game Design) students on 26/09/2026. The event, whose name conveyed the chaos and overwhelming firepower of the game itself, gave students a platform to test their reflexes, strategy, and teamwork in a fast-paced competitive format. A total of 19 students participated in the programme, making the event a great success. Teams were formed across the II and III year Game Design students, who competed against one another in knockout rounds of BGMI, with points awarded for accuracy, speed, and survival. The competition saw intense rounds of close combat, with teams eliminating one another until the final showdown. The team of Mr. Hariraam T, Mr. Logaprasath, and Ms. Vinothini, all from III B.Sc. Animation (Game Design), emerged as the winning team, displaying sharp reflexes and strong coordination throughout the event. The winning team was felicitated by the faculty in-charge, who also encouraged all participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Faculty members appreciated the association's initiative in organizing an engaging, skill-based event that went beyond the classroom and strengthened camaraderie among students. The event concluded with an interactive session where students shared feedback and suggested ideas for future gaming and technical competitions to be organized by the association. Overall, BATTLEGROUND: BGMI CLASH 2026 was conducted successfully with 20 participants. The event added an exciting, competitive dimension to the D. P. Roy Choudhury Association's calendar and reinforced its objective of encouraging innovation, active participation, and skill-building among B.Sc. Animation (Game Design) students throughout the academic year.
