The D. P. Roy Choudhury Association of the School of Animation and Media Studies, SLCS, has successfully organized the game event “Battle of Games: Student Showcase” on 10th January 2026 at Animation Academic Lab – 3 from 12:40 PM to 1:30 PM. A total of 21 students from B.Sc. Animation (Game Design and Development Specialization) actively participated in the event. The program was conducted with the objective of providing a platform for students to showcase their developed games, demonstrate creativity and technical skills, receive constructive feedback, and promote innovation through peer learning.

The session commenced with a warm welcome speech delivered by Mr. Venu Madhavan K, setting a positive tone for the program. The event was smoothly hosted by Ms. Vinothini C, who efficiently coordinated the flow of activities. The program concluded with a vote of thanks (valedictory address) given by Mr. Paramesh M expressing gratitude to all participants and organizers.

The event featured presentations and demonstrations of student-developed games, where participants exhibited originality, technical proficiency, and design thinking. The session encouraged interaction, discussion, and knowledge sharing among students. The event was well-organized and received positive feedback from the participants. Overall, “Battle of Games: Student Showcase” was a successful initiative that enhanced students’ confidence, practical exposure, and presentation skills.
