“D. P. Roy Choudhury Association” and “Medius Corrnet” organized a Drawing Competition entitled “Learn with Colors: Drawing Session for School Children” on June 13, 2024 at Villapuram – Little Diamond Matriculation School, Madurai, from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm. Organized by School of Animation and Media Studies, the event aimed to foster creativity, artistic expression, and a sense of community among young learners.
The classes were held on 13-07-24 enthusiastic participation from accommodating 50 students from Little Diamond Matriculation School – Villapuram. Students from various age groups the primary objective of these classes was to introduce students to foundational techniques in both traditional water color painting and digital art using Adobe Photoshop. Throughout the course, students engaged in hands-on activities, and interactive learning sessions designed to enhance their artistic skills and technical proficiency. In the water color painting sessions, students learned basic techniques such as brush strokes, color mixing, and composition. Painting styles and created their own artworks, developing confidence in their artistic abilities. The Painting works for Little Diamond Matriculation School, students was a resounding success, celebrating the artistic talents and achievements of young learners. Totally 32 students from III B.Sc., Animation, 3 Students from PG Diploma in Animation Techniques and 14 students from III B.Sc., Visual Communication (49 Students) along with 2 faculty members were participated in the event.
