The School of Animation and Media Studies organized a Field Trip to Kochi for the students of III B.Sc. Animation and III B.Sc. Visual Communication. A total of 17 students participated in the trip, comprising 13 students from III B.Sc. Animation and 4 students from III B.Sc. Visual Communication. The trip was accompanied by Mr. A. R. R. Arul Prince Raaj, Assistant Professor, and Mrs. K. Jansirani, Assistant Professor, School of Animation and Media Studies.
The journey began on 18th September 2025, with the students departing from Madurai Periyar Bus Stand at 9:00 PM. On 19th September 2025, the group arrived at Kochi Wonderla Amusement Park at 9:00 AM, where the students experienced a variety of rides and recreational activities. The following day, 20th September 2025, the students visited several significant landmarks, including Hill Palace and Dutch Palace, both renowned for their historical art and architecture, as well as Jew Street and Lulu Mall. These visits provided valuable exposure to historical, cultural, and contemporary commercial spaces, enhancing the students’ learning and observational skills.
The trip concluded on 21st September 2025, with the group returning to Madurai at 8:15 AM. The field trip offered the students a unique opportunity to explore diverse environments, gain practical insights, and strengthen camaraderie among peers, contributing significantly to their overall educational experience.
