PEER TEACHING ON SAFETY PRACTICES IN FOOD INDUSTRY

The Department of Food Science and Processing Management arranged an online   Knowledge sharing session on “SAFETY PRACTICES IN FOOD INDUSTRY” between 3.00pm to 3.30pm on 11th of August at F 26 room. The programme was conducted through the link, https://meet.google.com/lookup/fjoodqqm7r?authuser=0&hs=179, Final year student Miss R. Gunalini taught second year students about all the safety practices which she had observed doing her internship . She explained the meaning of food safety, need for food safety, importance of food safety and finally the application of safety practices used in the Food Industry .Totally 13 students actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts at the end of the session.  Feedback was collected from the students and the analysis showed that most of the students were highly satisfied with the peer teaching session.
