PEER TEACHING ON “APPLICATION OF SCORE CARD IN FOOD INDUSTRY”

The Department of Food Science and Processing Management arranged an online peer teaching session on “Application of Score Card in Food Industry” on the 7th of April between 3.00pm and 3.50pm. The programme was conducted through the link, http://meet.google.com/hqi-rmoz-eav. Final year student Miss S.Abinaya taught the second year students the Importance of Sensory Evaluation and Score Card which she had observed doing her project work in Product Development.. She explained the meaning of Sensory Evaluation, Types of Sensory Evaluation, Methods of Sensory Evaluation and the Application of Score Card in the Food Industry .The students actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts at the end of the session.  Feedback was collected from the students   and the analysis showed that most of the students were highly satisfied with the peer teaching session.
