Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science conducted a seminar entitled “Self Reliance Bharat ” on September 2, 2022. Mr. R. Sundaram, All India Coordinator of the Swadeshi Awareness Movement, was the special guest at this seminar. The guest speaker pointed out the recent growth in India’s domestic product and the achievements of corona vaccine production. He exclaimed that it is a state of economic growth and motivated the students to become young entrepreneurs of India mentioning some entrepreneurial ideas. The stories of budding entrepreneurs were also cited in the speech. The Digital Platform of Swavalambibi Bharat Abhiyanin, www.mysba.co.in was shared to the students. This platform gives training for entrepreneurs, such as start-up guidance, placements, legal advice, other language learning, and careers. The chief guest motivated the students to become young entrepreneurs. Dr. R. Sujatha, the Principal of the college, and Dr. S. Priya, Dean Academics , both participated in the seminar. A group of 365 students participated in this program.
