Voter’s Day was observed on 25-01-2020 at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai. Mr. Murugesan highlighted the program by asking students to answer various questions about the election. Thiruparankundram taluka Revenue Inspector Mr. U. Nagarajan in his speech said that the Election Education Knowledge Committee and an election wall should be set up to create election awareness among the students. The Adviser took the lead to accept the leadership of the College Principal. Mr. Prince (SI) and village administration officials like Ms. Manoj Government were present during the observation. Everyone took the oath to read the election pledge to the College Principal P. Ramamurthy. A voter awareness rally of 335 students walked up to Nedumadurai. Nearly, 397 students and professors participated in the event. All arrangements for the event were made by NSS Officer Mr. Kumar.
