Suicide Prevention Awareness Seminar was organized for the students on 18.09.2018 by the National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy college of Science, Madurai. Dr. R. Lakshmipathy, President of the College in his keynote address said that students should have the mental strength to face problems. On behalf of the Cell amuthu Foundation, Dr. Nandinimurali, the NSS Programme Officer made all the arrangements for the event. Overall 51 students participated in the programme.
