National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai and Akila Bharatiya Krahak Panchayat conducted a seminar on Consumer awareness on Food and Health on 21.03.2022. In this program, Akila Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat State Coordinator Mr. Sundar delivered the keynote address. He said that we as consumers must know certain basic aspects related to safety, and quality of products. He mentioned that buyers’ privilege is significant to product administration and hence best choice must be made while buying any goods. Further, he appreciated the work done by the college regarding consumer awareness during the year 2021-2022.The college Principal, Dr. R. Sujatha received the award for the same. In total, 328 students participated in the seminar.
