The Independence Day was celebrated on 15-08-2018 at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science. During the ceremony, the college principal hoisted the national flag. In his keynote address, he emphasized the importance of celebrating Independence Day. He also praised the energy level of the students’community and said that they could go to greater level if they worked with dedication. At the end of the ceremony, everyone was given the dessert. Professors, officials and college students attended the ceremony. The arrangements for the Independence Day celebration was made by P. Thangamuthu, Director of Physical Education of the College and Kumar, NSS Officer. Overall 348 members including the Faculty members and the students participated.
