National Service Scheme and Handloom and Textile Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu conducted Handloom Exhibition on 04.08.2017 on the eve of World Handloom Day at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science. Cotton sarees, custom sarees, silk sarees, blankets, towels and men’s shirts were displayed at the exhibition. Students, alumni and professors attended the exhibition and bought handloom garments to support the weavers.
