The National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science celebrated Literacy Day on September 8, 2021. An awareness of and concern for literacy problems was raised. The goal was to eradicate illiteracy in the local community. Donating and reading books was encouraged. Every student was asked to read a few pages and pass the message to the audience. In total 61 students and few faculty members have participated in this program.
