The National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science conducted an awareness program on “Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana,” a special insurance scheme, on August 29, 2021, at Solankuruni Village. In total 15 NSS volunteers explained the premium and benefits of the scheme . The students said that it covers one year and it has to be renewed every year. They also explained the process of joining the scheme.
