The National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science conducted an awareness program on Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, a special saving scheme for the girl children, on August 22, 2021, at N. Kallupatti Village. The NSS volunteers eight in number explained the process to join the scheme and also stressed the importance of saving for a girl child. The village people enthusiastically participated in the program.
