A seminar in the name of “Consumer Evasion and Protection of Rights” – was conducted by National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy Science College and Akila Bharatiya Grahag Panchayat (ABGP) along with Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the college on 28.12.2021. The College Principal Dr. R. Sujatha, delivered her speech by citing real-life examples of evasion. The technical session was conducted by Mr. Srinivasan, Advocate, Madurai High Court, Mr. Govindarajan, Distt Member, APGP, Dr. Murali Bhaskar, District Member, APGP and Sri Kulothunga Manian, State Secretary, APGP. They shared various facts and laws related to consumer evasion and protection of rights. The seminar also highlighted different types of consumer evasion and the consequences of its avoidance. The program benefited 328 students.
