National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science, Madurai organized a Dengue Awareness Program on 11.07.2017. Dr. P. Saravanan/ Principal presided over the function and inaugurated the ceremony. Special guests Dr. John Victor/ District Medical Officer, Dr. P. Pandi/ Block Medical Officer and Mr. P. Thangasami /Block Health Supervisor addressed 103 students regarding the possible effects of dengue and the various ways to protect themselves from it. There was also an audio – visual presentation on Dengue Awareness. Participants were given a warm tincture. A large number of students participated in the event. All the arrangements for the event were made by the NSS Program Officer S. Kumar.
