The 71st Republic Day celebration was held on 26-01-2020 at Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science. During the ceremony the college principal hoisted the national flag. In his keynote address, the college principal emphasized the importance of Republic Day celebrations. He also praised the energy of the younger community and said that they could reach a higher level if they acted with a sense of duty. At the end of the ceremony everyone was given dessert. Professors, officials and college students attended the ceremony. The arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations were made by P. Thangamuthu, Director of Physical Education of the College and Kumar, NSS Officer. 62 Faculty and staff members participated.
