International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21.6.2019 on behalf of National Service Scheme, Subbalkshmi Lakshmipathy college of Science, Aruppukottai Road, Madurai. Dr. Ramamurthy, Principal of the College addressed the gathering on the specialties of Yoga. Dr. RL Ramnath spoke on the benefits of yoga. Brother Karthikeyan from Vivekananda College taught yoga to all the students. The students attended in different slots from 09.00 am to 05.10 pm. 949 College Students and 43 assistant professors participated. All arrangements for the International Yoga Day were made by our College NSS Officer, Mr.S.Kumar.
