The National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science conducted an awareness program on Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana a special for the age group between 18-70, on January 15, 2022, at Eliyarpathi Village. The NSS volunteers explained the importance of this scheme and said that it is an Accident Insurance Scheme offering accidental death and disability cover for death or disability on account of an accident. The students also mentioned the process of registration. Following that, 10 students created awareness among MGNERGA workers through this program.
