The National Service Scheme of Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science conducted an awareness program among retailers at Nedumadurai Village on December 24, 2021, by stating that “consumer is king” to celebrate National Consumer Rights Day. Right to safety, right to be informed, right to choose, right to be heard, right to seek redress, right to consumer education was elaborated. The program handled by 24 students raised awareness, thereby enabling the consumers to become more proactive.
